Hereafter

Erotica, R-18+

I dreamt a past
That could have been
Embraced seductions
That went unseen

I said yes
To her advance
This time
I gave love a chance

A fantastical story
With a dreamlike plot
‘Tis a shame I woke early
Because teasing’s all I got

I tried to return
To her ethereal embrace
But I was trapped by a different
Aspect of the dream space

This time I was the hero
Of my own epic adventure
Fighting demons
And going where most don’t venture

I saved the realm
And rescued my liege
Oh what glory!
Oh what prestige!

As reward
I was promised eternal bliss
Lands and luxuries
And a fair maiden’s kiss

Humbly I approached
And gently lifted her shroud
When I saw her face
I couldn’t help but laugh out loud

It was her
The girl from my past
The dreams had melded
I have her at last

What good fortune have I
To get another chance
To live and love
To play and romance

A fairy-tale ending
We lived happily ever after
I awoke refreshed
Having dreamt of hereafter
