Paedophilia is disgusting and vile in all its forms. Predators use their positions of power to dominate, control and abuse the people under their care. They manipulate their victims with fear, cover up their actions, deny all allegations and ultimately blame the victims.

This problem is particularly rife within the Catholic church. In many circles, paedophilia and Catholic priests are considered synonyms. Whilst this is clearly an exaggeration of facts (there are many good, non-paedophile priests) there is a reason for such an associations.
