70: Are You A Wage Slave?

Wage Slave

85% of full time workers are 'not engaged’ by their work. In effect they either hate what they are doing, or merely tolerate doing it.

This terrifies me. For years I was in this situation, until my mental health and a study opportunity forced me out of full time employment.

I am now on a far lower income, but I am significantly happier doing it.

The poem ‘The Comfortable Rut’ starts this episode, it is part of the Wage Slave Anthology, my next fiction book, dedicated towards exposing the absurdity of modern work life.

If this episode has resonated with you, I would love your support.
